Abacus Sarah is a stunning Friesian Sport Horse mare; she’s 15.22hh, 6 years old and Registered in the FSHR with a Friesian Sport Horse High Point Award at the Tri-Arabian Club Show in 2004 for halter and horsemanship. She holds a lot of the beauty, presence and human-like attitude of her Friesian sire the late great Abacus Ulrik (By Mark, grandson of Sander and Barteld)…with a touch of Arabian for flash, wisdom and spirit, then a dash of Quarter Horse for athleticism and agility. She really is the ultimate sport horse.Her buckskin coloring is quite rare for a Friesian cross and she has fantastic conformation and posture. Her trot is smooth as silk and she holds her head beautifully without any coaxing. She is quick to learn, and eager too. She’s very calm and level headed. She always surprises me with how quickly, and easily she learns whatever I may ask of her.
I had no intention of selling her until I developed an illness that prevents me from being able to do much of anything with her. She needs to be around people, she’s a very people oriented horse and I know she would love to find someone to really bond with and learn from.
She has endless potential in dressage, reining, barrel racing, jumping, driving, roping, trail… she loves the mountains…. and if ever she was bred with another Friesian Cross or a pure Friesian her baby would be wonderful, and quite valuable.
She’s been ridden a dozen times. Never bucked. Very sane. I’ve been a student of natural horsemanship for 10 years so I expect nothing but the best from my horses and Sarah is just that, the best. I adore this girl and would love to see her reach her full potential.
